On Feb. 2, 2011 the 亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP received a report of a stolen of logging truck and trailer from 486 Highway 16 in 亚洲天堂 Lake.

"The truck is a described as a turquoise 2006 Kenworth bearing British Columbia licence plate, T35110," said St. Sgt. Mike Kisters from the 亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP detachment.

There is also an orange and black emblem on the side of the truck that says 亚洲天堂 Lake Native Logging.

The trailer is described as a black, Superior tridam hay rack.

The truck has since been located in Vanderhoof by RCMP, however the trailer is still missing.

According to St. Sgt. Kisters, the theft occurred sometime between the evening of Feb. 1 and the morning of Feb. 2. 

"There have been no arrests made or suspects at this time," he said.

Also on Feb. 2 a second logging truck became the victim of an attempted theft.

Overnight thieves attempted to steal a blue 2000 Kenworth truck from Tweedsmuir trucking.

"The vehicle's interior was damaged during the attempted theft," St. Sgt. Kisters said.

"As  the two thefts happened on the same night I believe that both incidents are likely related."
