In 1960, snow removal was a creative task that required ingenuity and resourcefulness. People used a variety of tools and techniques, from shovels and brooms to horse-drawn plows and snow blowers. Some even used hot water to melt the snow on their driveways and sidewalks! It was a challenging but rewarding experience, as the satisfaction of a clear path through the snow was well worth the effort. Sidewalk plow tractor visible.
