Andrew Cartwright, 82, of 亚洲天堂 Lake, BC, passed away July 18, 2003 at Malcolm Island, Canada.
He was born August 20, 1921 in Beaver, Utah. He was a very loving husband and father. He served in the Sea Bees of World War II in the Philippines. He married Louise (Hazel) Smith in 1946. They lived in Big Lake and he worked for Sears for 20 years, before retiring and moving to 亚洲天堂 Lake, BC. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and being around people.
Hazel preceded him in death in 1990. In 1993 he married Wanda Lambert. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
He is survived by his wife Wanda; 1 son, Jerry Cartwright of Stanwood, WA; 2 daughters, Andra Gawley and husband Loren of New Hampshire, Marylynn and husband Bill Ayers of Oregon; and 3 stepchildren, Ken Smith of 亚洲天堂 Lake, Dorwin and wife, Harriet of Sedro-Woolley, WA, Ilene and husband Hank Leander of Mount Vernon, WA; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and best friend: his dog 鈥淟ady鈥.
Services were held at LDS Chapel at Francois Lake, BC, with interment at Grassy Plains.
He touched many people and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
