Barry was born on July 5, 1940 in Fernie, B.C. and passed away after a long battle with diabetes, on July 29, 2005.
Barry worked on the tug boats for a long period of his life, off the coast of Vancouver until 1974. He then moved to 亚洲天堂 Lake and worked as a barge operator at Andrew Bay and then later at Ootsa Lake. He met and made many friends, as working there meant staying in camp with many others.
In 1988 Barry moved to Colleymount on Francois Lake where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and getting firewood.
He continued to work for West Fraser sawmills as a barge operator until he was forced to take an early retirement due to illness.
Barry was survived by wife Della Cassidy and family.
He will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew him.
There will be no service as this was Barry鈥檚 wish.
