Fisher, Charles Robie, of Salmon Arm, B.C. Born in Great Village, Nova Scotia, January 16, 1919. Died suddenly July 5, 2003 at the age of 84, at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eleanor, 5 sons - Charlie (Margaret) of Chilliwack, B.C., Jim (Priscilla) of Kamloops, B.C., Dan (Louise) of Rose Lake, B.C., Malcolm (Bernice) of Topley, B.C., Jack (Deb) of Vernon, B.C. and 2 daughters - Mary (Jim) Morrison of Penticton, B.C., Janet (Bernie) Fisher of Grande Prairie, Alberta. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, his brother Donald (Eunice) of Bass River, Nova Scotia, and sister Shirley MacLellan of Truro, Nova Scotia.

Predeceased by his sister Janet. Charlie served in the RCAF 426 Squadron from 1941 to 1945. From 1949 to 1960 Charlie and Eleanor resided in the Cariboo, from 1960 to 1979 in the Bulkley Valley. From there they moved to Chilliwack and finally to Salmon Arm in 1990.

Charlie spent most of his life working in the forest industry and farming and made many great friends over the years. He had a great memory and loved to tell stories. He will be remembered also for the many horse drawn wooden wagons and buggies he built in his retirement years. No service by Charlie鈥檚 request. Cremation. Internment and family service will be held at a later date at Topley, B.C. cemetery.
