Heather was born in 亚洲天堂 Lake on September 6, 1945 - to Leonard and Beatrice Radley. The Radley's owned a sawmill at 7 mile on the Babine Lake Rd. and later ran a dairy farm - delivering milk to the residents of 亚洲天堂 Lake. Heather was the oldest of six children, four girls and two boys, Heather Joan, Tom, Lori, Jackie and Tyson.

Heather attended school in 亚洲天堂 Lake and graduated from L.D.S.S., she then went on to take accounting at CNC in Prince George. During her high school years, Heather worked part time doing books for her Dad at Radley Motors and after finishing college, she returned to work full time for him.

Heather , while going to school sang in the 亚洲天堂 Lake Girls Choir and took an active part in the Anglican Young People's group.

Heather married Ed Bett in 1966 in a double wedding with her sister Joan in 亚洲天堂 Lake. Soon after their marriage, Heather and Ed started their Family, eventually having three boys, Graham, Robbie and Warren, the joy of her life. They moved to Prince George for a short time for work and then returned to 亚洲天堂 Lake.

Heather began working in the Royal Bank of Canada when her family was quite young. Through her bank work, she became very popular with the public, because of her honesty and good judgement. Her clients became good friends.

In 2006 her husband Ed passed away and Heather carried on working for the Royal Bank. In August 2007 she married Dave Heppner. They had just over two happy years together living in Prince George.

Heather loved music and singing, dancing and playing cards. She was very involved and devoted to her Church and Faith. Faith sustained her to the end when things were difficult for her. She was also active in the Museum Society.

Heather passed away Jan. 19, 2010 in Prince George. She was predeceased by her father Leonard in 1976, her mother Beatrice in 1997, her husband Ed in February 2006 and her brother Tom in September, 2006. She is survived by her husband Dave, her sons Graham, Rob (Joellen), Warren (Shirley), Shawn (Donna), and 10 grandchildren and four siblings, Joan (Gordon), Lori (Kevin), Jackie (Mike) and Tyson (Gail), and many nieces and nephews. She will be sorrowfully missed by all.

Memorial Services were held in Prince George at Hart Pentecostal Church, January 23, 2010 and a celebration of her life followed in 亚洲天堂 Lake at the Island Gospel Fellowship Hall January 24, 2010.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Prince George Rotary Hospice House, 3089 Clapperton St., Prince George, V2L-5N4 or the Canadian Cancer Society in Heather's memory.
