December 6, 1926 - February 24, 2021
Born in Hounslow England, Jean grew up through WW 2 when she began her calling in nursing. After the war, she travelled to both New Zealand and Australia, working as a midwife.
Jean came to Canada in 1960 to continue her nursing career, and travel more of the world. Arriving first in Duncan, but feeling the need to explore BC, Jean moved to 亚洲天堂 Lake where she met and married Lawson (Doughy) Grey and raised 3 children.
After Doughy's passing in 1988, Mom moved to Victoria where she has since called home. Survived by Chris (Jim), Bill (Kim), John (Erin), and grandchildren Brenden and Marina, that she was so very proud of, along with many good friends and family.
Special mention to her nieces, "the girls" in the UK. Mom, we need you to know how much you are loved, and the strong values you have left us with.
With grateful hearts, the family would like to thank the amazing staff at Broadmead Lodge for their love and care over the last 3 years. Due to Covid, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of an exemplary life will be held at a later date when we are all able to gather.
If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart, I will stay there forever...
