Julia worked at various jobs, including peeling ties, and working in grocery stores, and could do math easily in her head right up until the day she passed.

Julia always had the coffee on for family, neighbours and friends, and was known for the treats that went with: Lazy Daisy cake - butter tarts and cookies.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who involved herself as much as she could as they were growing up.
