It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.

Kathy was a true Northern B.C. girl. She was born and raised in Giscome. She met Archie in 1946 and they were married on February 18, 1950. With the offer of a new and promising career, the young family moved from Giscome to 亚洲天堂 Lake in 1959 and spent 11 happy years enjoying outdoor activities and the warmth and love of a small community. Archie built the family cabin on Fran莽ois Lake, where many happy memories are still being made. After 1 year in Houston the family moved back to Prince George in 1971.

Mom and Dad had a marvelous life together. Mom enjoyed staying home and raising the children. After Dad retired they travelled all over the world. They were part of the Snow Bird鈥檚 and went south every year for 3-4 months. As well, Mom and Dad were an amazing couple to watch on the dance floor.

Kathy was always very active in the community. She joined Eastern Star, her love for it shows by being a 50 year member. She was Worthy Matron in 亚洲天堂 Lake. Kathy also volunteered for cancer dressings, Hospital Auxiliary, the Hospital Thrift Shop, the Festival of Trees as well as numerous Eastern Star functions. Her help will be greatly missed. In her younger years, Kathy dabbled in painting classes and enjoyed curling, especially the bonspieling part.

When making ends meet in the early years was a struggle, Mom was extremely resourceful. There was the berry picking, canning, a vegetable garden, baking, sewing, darning and homemade root beer for the kids in the summer.

Kathy will always be remembered for her impeccable fashion style, her smile, sense of humour, her feisty spirit, big hugs, love of socializing, doing crossword puzzles, her hands, and her devotion to Archie and her family. She was happiest when all of the family was gathered at her home. We cherish our memories of good food, laughter and merriment on these occasions. Thanks for the magic Mom.

Grateful for her love and special memories are her loving husband Archie of 64 years; Sons; Barry (Debi), Craig, Daughter Pamela Reimer, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren( whose pictures covered every available space on the walls and fridge), nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by son Gary, son-in-law Ken Reimer, Father Duncan Neil, Mother Alice Neil, Sister Joleen Coster, Brother -in-law鈥檚 Robert Coster, Thomas Dilworth, Sister-in-law, Grace Dilworth.

Please join us at 11:00 am, on December 5th, for her service at Assman鈥檚 Funeral Chapel, 1908 Queensway St, Prince George, B.C. Luncheon to follow at the Masonic Hall, 480 Vancouver Street. In Lieu of flowers a donation in memory of Kathy can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
