Lawrence was born in the 亚洲天堂 Lake hospital and spent his pre-teen years on the family farm at Danskin. In1948 they moved to the north side of Francois Lake. Lawrence lived and worked mostly in the Lakes District area until moving to Fort St. James in 1971. He married Madeleine Minger in 1956 and they had three children over the years. For most of his working life, he drove machinery and eventually started his own company with the purchase of a backhoe. He later owned a grader and worked it year round until his failing health forced him to retire. He always maintained his sense of humour and had that mischievous twinkle in his eye until the end. He is survived by: his wife of 54 years - Madeleine; two daughters - Shelly (Ted Bingham) and Gloria (Grant Greve); sister -Sandra deHoog (Cor); six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lawrence is predeceased by his parents - William and Stella Loveseth; son - Larry; brother - Orville; and sister - Doris Jeffrey. He also leaves behind his constant companion, Sparky.
