CapletteLinda

It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Linda Mae Caplette.

Linda was born March 8, 1958 in Whitehorse Yukon and died at her home in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake, BC on July 6, 2017.

Linda took great pride in being born in the Yukon. It was a place that held special meaning for her and she cherished memories of her trips back there. Linda spent her childhood and teen years living in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake. During her early adult life Linda briefly moved away but the people and wilderness surrounding ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake always drew her back, she said it was her ‘safe place’.

Linda’s effervescent personality lit up any room she walked into. Her huge smile, great big bear hugs, deep compassion and genuine kindness quickly made her countless close lifelong friends everywhere she went. Linda was never too busy to give kindness and compassion to anyone in need.

Linda’s life was celebrated with a packed hall filled with loved ones and friends in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake on July 15, 2017.

Linda is loved and deeply missed by her partner Rick, her children Dawn, Mike, Tyler and Amber, grandchildren Dakota, Elias, Lucien, Maggie, Jasmine. Her parents, mom Elaine Hutton and dad and stepmom Ross (Jan) Caplette. Siblings Sandi, Wendy, LaVerne. Nieces and nephews Amanda, Tanya, Chad, Nadine, Kaitlin, Braeden. Numerous great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless close friends.

Linda, you are missed and loved more than mere words can express. You will live on forever in our hearts.
