Margaret died peacefully at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at the age of 82. She is survived by her loving family: daughter Darlene Chapman (John) of Oliver, sons Richard (Ollie) of Williams Lake and Ed (Lynne) of Decker Lake; grandchildren Tami, Trent, Tayrn, Trenisa, Tyler, Tim, Patricia, Erin and Danielle, seven great granchildren, sisters Gertie Martens (Dave) and Sue Kahler-Ellis, and brother John Hiebert.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul鈥檚 United Church on Wednesday, February 12, 2003 with interment at the 亚洲天堂 Lake cemetary.

Margaret arrived in the 亚洲天堂 Lake area in 1943 with husband Jake. She worked at the 亚洲天堂 Lake hospital for 15 years and continued her service to the community by working at the hospital auxiliary thrift shop. Margaret will be sadly missed by family and friends.
