Marjorie passed away suddenly at the 亚洲天堂 Lake Hospital.

Marj was born to parents Alice and Del Cassidy at the Southbank hospital, and raised at Colleymount.

After marrying Innes Short on Feb. 21, 1948, they continued to reside at Colleymount, where they raised their four children.

Family and friends were very important to Marj, and she loved spending time with them.

She was an avid gardener and spent considerable time knitting and baking. Marj was actively involved within the community as a member of the Anglican Church, the Recreation Commission, the 4-H Club and the Lakes District Fall Fair.

Marjorie is survived by her husband Innes, her sister Barbara Shelford, sister-in-law Della Cassidy and her children Della (Mike), Allin (Venus), Eileen (Frank), Debbie (Wayne), 11 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
