Our dear remarkable old Mom, hung up her apron, cashed in her chips and headed to heaven where Dad was waiting with the bow of the boat on the beach.
We had told mom it was ok for her to go, then Nip was on his way from Oregon and we said hang on Mom, Nip's on his way. She probably was thinking "make up your minds". She did hang on. Nip arrived at midnight in a snow storm and Mom left at 9 am on Dec. 30. She was surrounded with love by her four kids Sid, Ev, Nip and Todd, son and daughter in laws, grandkids and great-grandkids. You are so beautiful forever Mom.
The celebration of life will be this summer when the fishing is good. That's Mom's request.
