Born in Sask. Patricia, Pat, Patsy moved with her family Peter and Elsie Peebles and siblings to Francois during the depression years. She started grade one, boarding at the Cassidy's at Colleymount, then the Vandaveens at Tintagel, home to Francois Lake and then to 亚洲天堂 Lake. She grew up riding horseback, playing her guitar, singing, skiing, milking cows and cooking. She worked in 亚洲天堂 Lake, married Charlie Nourse in 1948. They soon moved to the Nourse homestead at Nourse/Tom Allin Creek referred to as "The Ranch." There they had a market garden, Charlie was in the logging industry, there was a family milk cow, a dog, cats, chickens and two children Ron and Rita. Charlie joined the forrest service in 1957 and Pat became an expert mover & packer as they moved back to two mile near 亚洲天堂 Lake, Telkwa, Pendleton Bay Babine, 亚洲天堂 Lake about 1964 and Pat became the care taker of Matt and Ina Nourse and later her own parents Pete and Elsie Peebles. With Charlie retired from the forestry and a house fire in 1971 they built a retirement home back at the ranch on Francois Lake.

Through all these years Pat sang a million songs, was snow queen for the Omineca Ski Club, drove a million miles to visit family, friends, secure music lessons, attend gymkhana's, horse shows, fishing trips to near by lakes and rivers, complete with picnic lunches. She enjoyed all flowers and always had a fresh arrangement in the house. A special remembrance to the Prairie Crocus and Tiger Lilies of the prairies and our own Lady Slippers (Calypsos), Wild Violets, False Solomen Seal and Purple Asters.

She decorated wedding cakes for family and friends and was an avid baker, canner and maker of wonderful perfect jams and jellies. Pat won many prizes at the local fall fair. For the local communities she lived in she was a W.I. member, canvassed for The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hall Society and later a supporter of the Terry Fox Run. She and Charlie rarely missed 24 of May picnics, christmas concerts and dances. Missing her are her sister Jean Stanton, brother Bob (Frances) Peebles, Arnie (Bernadette) Peebles, son Ron (Gloria) Nourse, grandchildren Jen (Travis) Hobs and great granddaughter Tess. Steven Nourse and Alison Nourse, daughter Rita (Larry) Hiatt, grandson Nick (Fawn) Hiatt and great granddaughter Holly. Also many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families plus friends.
