In his 84th year, in Granisle, BC after a short battle with Cancer. He will be forever and sadly missed by his Devoted Companion, Sparring Partner and Loving Wife Norma (Casey) of 60 Plus years. He also leaves behind his children: Jennifer (Wayne) (of Ajax, ON), David, Lynne (of North Bay, ON and Heather (Murray) of Powassan, ON. Grandchildren, Shannon and Tegan Ryan and Matthew Weston. He will also be mourned by his Nephew Wayne Weston, his 鈥渃hosen 2nd Son鈥�. He will also be missed by his Sister-in-laws, Marion, Joan and Kathy and his many nieces and nephews.

Phil was best known as one of the Favourite Professors at Canadore College in the Aviation Maintenance Technician Program, which was founded in 1976, and he remained a devoted teacher until retirement in 1994. Once in Granisle, BC, Phil #4 was absorbed by the Seniors Centre, Town Counsel, Darts, Lawn Bowling and his Musical Friends in Granisle, Topley and 亚洲天堂 Lake. He will be missed especially by his 鈥淐hosen Family鈥� in Granisle, Topley and Area鈥� Family is not always Blood, and Phil taught all of us this.

He was predeceased by his Brother Gilbert (1976) and his Mother Mildred (2015). Brother In Law Burleigh Lloyd and Sister In Law Ginny Lloyd (Who were his constant side-kicks until their passing)

At Phil鈥檚 request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. His ashes will be interned with his Wife鈥檚 as they both wish.
