"Bob" was born in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, the third child of Peter and Elsie Peebles' five children. Bob moved to 亚洲天堂 Lake area with his family in 1937 and they bought a farm on Brown Road at Francois Lake. After two years they homesteaded a place on Walker Road. Bob attended school in 亚洲天堂 Lake and drove taxi part time while in school. He quite school in grade 9 to go to work full time. On November 28, 1953 Bob married Frances Johnson and they raised 4 children on their farm at Francois Lake. Bob spent his life cattle farming with his brother Arnie. His other work was varied including sawmilling, and trucking (gravel, cattle, lumber etc.). Bob's family is very grateful to the Pines care home where Bob was cared for his last few years.

Left to mourn is Bob's wife Frances, his children Bob, Charlie, Jim, Ellen and their families, his sister Jean and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
