It is with great sadness to announce that Sue passed away on September 18th in the 亚洲天堂 Lake hospital after a five-month battle with cancer.

Sue is survived by her husband Don, her 4 sons Donald Jr, Tim, Allan, Bruce, 13 grandchildren, 1 great grand child and her older sister Verna Jean Smith Kiehn. Sue was predeceased by (brother) John Bruce Smith, (sister) Mary Ellen Smith Betz Harriman

Born and raised on a dairy farm in Peshastin, Sue moved to 亚洲天堂 Lake with her family in 1972 from Washington State. She was well known for being active with 亚洲天堂 Lake minor hockey. She became the librarian at the 亚洲天堂 Lake Public Library, then moved on to work as the librarian at the CNC college, retiring after 25 years. Sue enjoyed spending her time with friends and family.

Sue was loved by everyone who knew her, and will be remembered for her easy smile and good nature.
