In loving memory ~
Bill died peacefully with friends and family at his side in hospital in Prince George, he was 86, had a good life and left on his own terms. "Poacher" as he was jokingly referred to is survived by his son Wayne (Angela) Litke and daughters Wendy Nadeau, Chris (Kevin) Fletcher and Carla Litke. He leaves behind six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill will be fondly remembered for his love of crib, hunting with his nephews, betting against the Canucks (especially when those "sardine" twins were playing), cold beer (the "occasional" vodka - only the good stuff) and BS'ing with anyone who happened his way. He cherished his family and friends and to all in Fraser Lake and surroundings, a very heartfelt thank you for being part of Dad's life, your compassion and love for the "Poacher" aka Uncle Bill will never be forgotten. Thank you to Dr. Lees for the care provided and the pharmacists who he kept busy over the years, he spoke highly of you all as he did of most everyone he had the pleasure of knowing.
A celebration of Bill's life was held at the Fraser Lake Legion on April 30, 2022, and his ashes were interred at the Fraser Lake Cemetery at his request.
Thank you for the memories Dad.
