Oh my God. It鈥檚 hard doing business in 亚洲天堂 Lake. I thought I made it clear in my submission to mayor and council - it鈥檚 not about a business licence; it鈥檚 not about the Lakes Artisan Cooperative.

It鈥檚 about equality and fairness in renting a facility in our town at fair market value.

The village should not be in business which competes directly with other existing businesses. In this case, landlords who rent their facility at a fair market value. Have you talked to other landlords? I have and they鈥檙e not impressed.

Also, the issue does not matter who is renting the facility from the village - it could be a UBrew for all that matters. But I don鈥檛 like the suggestion that I鈥檓 opposed to the artisans.

Quite the opposite鈥� the more culture the creative individuals bring to our region, the better all our lives will be. I鈥檝e been supportive of both the visual and performing arts in the Lakes District since 1974.

I only used the 鈥渨ithholding business licence fee鈥� to get the attention of council and this renting issue. What other leverage do I have? Read my letter to council, it鈥檚 public knowledge.
