Beebee’s new family was excited to share the official DNA test results with us. They were surprised. Our readers will be surprised as well, considering that there were no 100 per cent correct guesses. According to Embark, Beebee’s DNA is: 39% Cane Corso, 35% German Shepherd, 26% American Pitbull Terrier. It was great that everyone entered this fun contest. Most people correctly guessed that her DNA included Pitbull, but no one guessed Cane Corso. Lab and Boxer were a couple of the common guesses. Other wrinkly-faced suspects included Shar Pei and there were some guesses of bigger breeds such as Great Dane and Mastiff.   

Congratulations go to Alisha Skelton, who made the best guess, including German Shepherd and Pitbull, and will get her own Embark DNA Test Kit for the dog of her choice.  Thanks also to Beebee, who received a new toy for her troubles, and to her adopted family who are giving her the love and care that every pet deserves.
