With a smile, ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake, I take my leave. Ho, ho, ho, off on an adventure, I go. To follow my heart and refresh my soul. Rain may fall, and wind may blow. And many miles be still to go. But, under a tall tree I will lie. And let the clouds go sailing by.
Farewell, ÑÇÖÞÌìÌÃy. You’ve taught me much, in my 20 years here.
I have come to believe a woman or a man, the individual, is deserving of respect and dignity. The group, us, forms community. In community, there is strength of support, of nurturing, of caring. The individual and the community, both connected, both stronger with mutual interests shared and acted upon.
‘Community,’ never really knew nor appreciated the concept before, yet learned the importance of its sustenance because of my time here. Another. I’ve learned a compliment acknowledging one’s efforts to be a more effective means of motivating somebody to do something that they’d really rather not, hmmm? Work. A kick in the can should be last resort stuff. And finally, perhaps, most important, les Canadiens sont la and the Edmonton Oilers will always suck. Eh? Always… the bastards!
Salut! With a tip of me cap, a nod of me head in appreciation of such a beautiful home, and with a smile, ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake, always, with a smile. Toodleedoo!
Sincerely,
Peter Cameron
