The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is a youth leadership and empowerment framework open to young people ages 14 to 24 across B.C. and the Yukon of any background, circumstance or ability.
The award recognizes four areas: community service, skill development, physical recreation, and adventurous journey.
The organization is committed to zero-barrier access through its diverse engagement initiatives for at-risk youth, including those on low incomes, those with disabilities, Indigenous youth, new immigrant youth, and rural youth.
