The Royal Colwood Golf Club is hosting the 110th Canadian Women's Amateur Golf Championship on July 29.
In total, 156 players from B.C., Canada, the U.S. and as far away as Australia, Botoa and Hong Kong will play.
Nine golfers from B.C. and another eight from the rest of Canada have qualified to date, with the pending list of players to be finalized by Golf Canada on July 3. This list could include another 50 golfers from B.C., 71 players from across Canada, and many from the U.S.
Lauren Kim of Surrey, B.C., who is currently attending the University of Texas, has qualified and will return to defend her 2023 championship.
Host club Royal Colwood will be represented by two members: Cynthia Adamek and Olivia (Jiyue) Wu.
The B.C. Amateur took place in Balfour earlier in June where Victoria's Anna Wu finished in ninth with a score of +8 while Victoria's Chelsea Truong, 18 years old, tied for 12th in the event with a score of +11.
