Octane Addictions riders, Dane Ferguson and brothers Kourtney and Whitney Hungerford are set to burn up the local track this month at the annual Cold Smoke event held by the 亚洲天堂 Lake Snowmobile Club.
Octane Addictions owner, Tyler Johnson said the 亚洲天堂 Lake show will be jam packed full of aerial back flips and high flying stunts on snowmobiles that should not be missed.
"The riders that we are bringing to 亚洲天堂 Lake are some of the best at what they do," Johnson said.
In fact, just two weeks after the Cold Smoke event, Ferguson is going to attempt a world record 120 foot back flip on his snowmobile during the West Yellowstone Snowmobile Expo. "Dane is a back country legend. I would say he has performed more back flips than any man alive," Johnson added.
In his 20's Ferguson hails from Anchorage, Alaska and is famous on the snowmobile circuit. His slogan, God made dirt, so dirt don't hurt," gives an insight into just how far Ferguson is willing to push the limits to achieve his stunts.
A quick search on the web will amass a ton of videos of Ferguson as well as the Hungerford brothers, flipping, twisting and jumping over huge ramps or mountainous terrain on snowmobiles, mini bikes or dirt bikes.
In 2009 Ferguson won the Winter X Games gold medal for his 'twist-off' trick.
"It's like an off axis flip that I have done off of wind lips at Turnagain. I named it the 'twist-off' after my good friend Christoph vonAlvensleben who [recently] passed away," Ferguson said on his Facebook page when he announced his gold medal win.
Ferguson and the Hungerford brothers have been in many of the Slednecks videos.
Johnson said that the Hungerford brothers are also top snowmobile riders.
They come from Bozeman, Montana, but reside in West Yellowstone, Montana.
"While in their father's shop class in high school they built the first ever snowmobile kicker ramp," he said.
"Kourtney is a two time Winter X Games athlete and Whitney is a very big up and comer. He has had a few injuries but he is working through those," Johnson said.
"It is a thrill sport so injuries are all part of it," he added.
According to Johnson, Kourtney is one of the best riders in the world and while he doesn't back flip he performs a multitude of high flying tricks to perfection.
"He is able to really extend his tricks," Johnson said.
He went on to say that the riders really get into the show. "We have done a ton of shows together, it's a fun show so I hope people put on their warm clothes and come out to the [Cold Smoke] event regardless of anything the weather happens to be doing. We have not been this far North ever before and we are really looking forward to it."
The 23 hour drive from West Yellowstone to 亚洲天堂 Lake is not the first trip to B.C. for Octane Addictions who went on a Canadian tour in October last year, stopping in Edmonton, Alberta and Prince George.
"Our number one goal is the kids. We want kids to see the show. Kids need a hero, someone who will inspire them to keep out of trouble and away from drugs. Who knows, someone in 亚洲天堂 Lake may be the next Dane Ferguson," Johnson said.
"We are there for the families and will stay around and sign as many autographs as we are asked to. We like to have couple of beers with people after all the riding is finished," he added.
Octane Addictions started in 2004 in Billings, Montana and have been promoting and hosting extreme shows since this time.
Octane Addictions' slogan is, 'If you can ride it, wrap it.' Locals can design their own custom decal wraps to personalize their atvs, snowmobiles, cars and bikes.
"We pride ourselves on always pushing the creative limits," said Johnson.
