The Lakes District Secondary School snowboard team had an amazing trip in Whistler for the B.C. School Sports Alpine Provincial Championships.

The students competed in a two run combined Giant Slalom and a one run all-terrain event.  It is truly amazing to watch the students compete at such a high level.  To have Andre and Elise win two years in a row is a first in the Alpine Championships.  The team is to commended for their commitment to training and competing. Congratulations to everyone.

Results: Girls Snowboarding: 2nd overall in the province
