New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider slams feet-first into Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price

The Montreal Canadiens are without their best player – Carey Price – and now down 0-2 in their best-of-seven series against the New York Rangers, in the 2014 Eastern Conference Final.

So, it's not going so well. But the Habs can still turn it around, starting on Wednesday night in Manhattan's Madison Square Garden.

in Game 1, when Rangers forward Chris Kreider slammed into him feet-first and jammed the goalie's knee.

Prior to Game 2 – which Montreal lost 3-1 on home ice – Canadiens coach Michel Therrien called the Kreider play a "reckless" play, and he noted the forward's history of hitting goalies.

(In New York's last series, Kreider ran through Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, as well. He also slammed into Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson in 2013, and is up on HockeyTube.net.)

Therrien also noted that the Habs now have the responsibility to get Price back in their lineup, which they can do by beating the Rangers and moving on to the Stanley Cup Final.
