Mats Zuccarello scored the game-winner in overtime, as the visiting Minnesota Wild rallied for a 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks in NHL action Saturday at Rogers Arena.
Brock Faber and Marcus Foligno also scored for Minnesota (44-30-7). Marcus Petterson and Jake DeBrusk replied for the Canucks (37-29-14). Filip Gustavsson earned the win in goal, making 12 saves. Kevin Lankinen made 30 stops in a losing effort for the Canucks.
With the win, Minnesota moved one point up on the St. Louis as the clubs battle for the two Western Conference wildcard playoff spots. The Blues lost 4-3 in a shootout to the Seattle Kraken. The Canucks have already been eliminated from playoff contention.

Pettersson opened the scoring 3:11 into the first period, taking a cross-ice pass from Linus Karlsson, moving down the left side and firing a shot high over Gustavsson鈥檚 glove hand. It was Pettersson鈥檚 first goal as a Canuck.
At 13:08 of the second period, DeBrusk made it 2-0 on the power play, deflecting in a shot from Nils H枚glander for his 27th goal of the year.
Minnesota pulled within one just 22 seconds into the third period, picking up a loose puck in the slot and firing a shot past Lankinen.
Foligno pulled the Wild even at 2-2 at 13:14, knocking home a bouncing puck in front.

In overtime, Zuccarello took a nice feed from Kirill Kaprizov, deked out Lankinen and slotted home the winner.
Vancouver has two games remaining, hosting the San Jose Sharks Monday (7 p.m.) and the Vegas Golden Knights Wednesday (also 7 p.m.).

The veteran backstop is retiring after the season鈥� Vancouver鈥檚 Derek Forbort was hurt in a fight with Minnesota鈥檚 Yakov Trenin, who punched the Canucks defenceman while he was down on the ice鈥� Vancouver finished one-for-three on the power play, while the Wild were 0-for-2鈥� Forward Ty Mueller made his NHL debut for the Canucks. Mueller has 38 points in 62 games with the AHL鈥檚 Abbotsford Canucks this year.
