New camp sites at Kager Lake

Thirteen new camping sites were recently added to the campground area near Kager Lake as part of a project of the Recreation Sites and Trails Branch, under the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development. Each camp area includes fire rings and locally-made picnic tables. The site was chosen because of its growing popularity, much of it driven by the local mountain biking culture.

Cimone explained facts and details of the manned mission to the moon that began 50 years ago when American astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on the morning of July 16, 1969.

Vendors set up their booths at the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Community Market, near the Chamber of Commerce, on July 19. Sellers offered goats milk products, vegetables, baking, wood decorations, books and essential oils.
