Hwy 16 reopened between Prince Rupert and Terrace

UPDATE: A Motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a truck. The highway reopened at around midnight. 

Hwy 16 is currently closed between Terrace and Prince Rupert.

Police, fire and ambulance responded to a serious motor vehicle incident 38km west of Terrace, near the railway level crossing this evening.

Drive BC said the next update will be at 9:30 p.m.

No details are currently available on the nature of the incident
