Chinook Community Forest holds BBQ

Chinook Community Forest held a BBQ at the new Ootsa Lake recreation site on Sept. 1. Many local residents attended the BBQ and to see the new recreational site. Under Chinook Community Forest awarded licencing one of their obligations is to create or expand an existing rec site. It is housing 23 campsites of various sizes with beautiful views. 77th Annual Lakes District Fall Fair

Sun shine, great entertainment, great people and great food makes for a great weekend. An abundance of attendees came out over the Sept. 8 weekend to enjoy the 77th annual fall fair. This was one of the best fall fairs with plenty to see and participate in and one of the all time favourites is the tug-a-war.
