Prince George RCMP say a man and a woman were arrested following a stabbing at a hotel that left the man injured.
RCMP say the stabbing happened at a hotel in the 2900-block of Recplace Drive around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 28), according to a news release from Prince George RCMP Wednesday. When officers arrived they found a man and a woman, who are both known to police.
RCMP say the man had a non-life-threatening injury, but "he was uncooperative with police and was subsequently arrested and transported to the Prince George RCMP detachment." He was later released with a future court date.
The woman, according to RCMP, tried to flee from police on foot. She was arrested outside of the hotel and then taken to the detachment where she will remain until her court date.
Prince George RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
