On the morning of Nov. 3, 2012 the local RCMP and the Prince George Emergency Response Team (ERT) responded to a domestic dispute involving a fire arm.

鈥淭he emergency response team was called in as the male suspect was reportedly armed with a firearm in the residence,鈥� said Cst. Lesley Smith, RCMP Media Relations Officer.

鈥淐ommunication was established and the male surrendered and was taken into custody without incident,鈥� she said.

Neighbours of the residence on Tchesinkut  Road south of 亚洲天堂 Lake were awoken early in the morning and asked to leave the area while the situation was handled.

The RCMP were alerted to the incident at 2:45 in the morning and the suspect was in custody by 8:30 a.m. that same morning.

The suspect remains in custody in 亚洲天堂 Lake in relation to the domestic situation.

鈥淲e don鈥檛 normally create media releases in relation to domestic situations, so I鈥檓 commenting on the ERT deployment and that it was successful in that one male was taken into custody without incident,鈥� Smith said.
