Regarding the narrowing of Hwy. 16 in phase one of the village’s downtown revitalization.
The proposed Hwy. 16 curb bulbs are just plain highway obstructions.
If the plan goes forward to put road obstructions on Hwy. 16, it will be known in the future as the ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake deactivation plan. Hwy. 16 isn't a side street, but is the main highway of Northern B.C.
To make it narrow in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake with the loss of parking and adding obstructions to maneuver around certainly is not good use of this section of highway.
How about a new intersection from Francois Lake Drive to Gilligan Drive East end?
Also a new intersection from Francois Lake Drive behind A&W to the shopping area.
