I do not want my Smart Metre

I want everyone to know that I have recently had a smart meter installed without my consent. It was installed when I was not home, despite plenty of no trespassing signs and signs stating that I did not want one. I have also sent letters to BC Hydro saying that I refused the smart meter. My meter is on the side of my house and is enclosed in a sun room. Meter readers can still access my meter either by looking through a window, or entering through one of the 2 doors on my sun room. These doors were latched from the inside and unfortunately, the screen was out of one of these doors. I am assuming that the installer climbed through this hole in my door to install the meter. When I contacted BC Hydro, they said that there was a glitch in the system that said they could go ahead and install; How convenient for them. They totally ignored my signs. I have demanded my analogue back, but so far have been unsuccessful. I find this infuriating and absolutely unacceptable, there was nothing wrong with my meter, and I deserve the right to protect myself and my family from radiation producing devices.

I would encourage everyone who has received a meter but really didn't want one to contact BC Hydro; they need to know how many of us do not want this; maybe then they will allow an opt-out option.

Until then I am not giving up on my mission to get my analogue back.
