We have heard about the tragedy at the Babine Forest Products sawmill.  that has recently struck your community.

We are deeply saddened to hear of what has taken place in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake.

We send our thoughts, prayers and condolences to the families and to your community.

We pray that you may come together to cope with the losses that you are all dealing with at this very difficult time.

We want you to know that as we have continued to develop a strong bond of friendship between our two schools, the Lakes District Secondary School and Xianghe #1 Middle School, the entire school community in Xianghe is thinking of you as you manage the challenges that this catastrophe has brought to you.
