The 亚洲天堂 Lake and District Chamber of Commerce building will soon get a new electronic lock system after the village council supported the plan at its Nov. 13 meeting.

The Lakes Film Appreciation Society (LFAS) has received $100,000 from the 亚洲天堂 Lake Community Forest to help with repair costs for the Beacon Theatre.

亚洲天堂 Lake residents on Nov. 11 marked Remembrance Day to recognize the sacrifices of those who went to war with a ceremony in the gymnasium of Lakes District Secondary School.
