All of these people pictured here were born at the George Brown Memorial Hospital from 1931 to 1960. The building is now owned by ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake Native Development Corporation. The Village of ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake were sad to announce the new playground was not ready for the Centennial celebrations. The contractor said they were are short a couple of important pieces to complete the playground, and are waiting for them from the manufacturer. The playground will now be completed by end of August. Centennial Parade in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake on Aug. 18. The Parade was a celebration for the Centennial 100 years. Lots of people volunteered with their motor vehicles, mascots, colourful decorations and cosplay for this event. The parade went well and local residents enjoyed the show. Centennial Dinner Gala

ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake residences socializes at the Centennial Dinner Gala inside the Gathering Place in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake on Aug. 19. Delicious food was served with good country and folk music. Most of the guests embraced each other which feels like they have met after a long time. The Johnnie Rockers rocked the stage and guests crowded the dance floor and danced to their heart content. The evening ended well with good food, music, dance, laughter and lots of socializing.
