Coffee house and ‘A Celtic Christmas Ceilidh’

Mistletoe mania Christmas parade

The Lakes District Peace Choir - comprised of children from William Konkin Elementary School (WKE), Francois Lake Elementary School and Decker Lake Elementary School - rehearse at WKE for their performance this Friday during the Mistletoe Mania Christmas parade and Christmas tree light up at Pioneer park. The parade starts at 6:15 p.m. and goes along Government Street. Then everyone is invited to Pioneer Park for entertainment and hot chocolate and treats. (Flavio Nienow photos)

The Travelling Mabels, a folk and country group full of spirit, spunk and laughter, brought a wealth of life experience to the stage in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake last week. This was the third performance in the Lakes District Arts Council’s performing arts season.

The Barkers ensured that everybody had a great time during the Omineca Ski Club’s 90th birthday celebration. The event was held at the Jean Paulson Lodge on Nov. 4, 2017.

Coffee house at the Lakeside Multiplex

A quilt and art show was held at the Francois Lake Hall and St. Luke’s Church on the Lake on Oct. 21. The show, which was sponsored by Yarn and Sew On, featured door prizes and a special guest from Summerland - ‘quilter on fire’ Brandy Maslowski.
