Dave Collie lived in 亚洲天堂 Lake for his first 18 years of life. He now resides in Chilliwack and vounlteers for Chilliwack Disaster Relief Group. When he heard what his hometown was going through with the wildfires he wanted to help. 鈥淚t is my home town I had to help. This is a joint effort from people all over the Lower Mainland that have stepped up. Not just Chilliwack we have had donations come in from North Vancouver and Delta/Tsawwassen and Maple Ridge,鈥 said Collie. 鈥淚t has been a community of volunteers that have made it possible to fill a small 20 foot trailer and two 53 foot trailers.鈥 Collie鈥檚 parent, Lyle and Catherine drove to 亚洲天堂 Lake to help unload the truck. The truck and van arrived the late last Monday at P&B Feeds, where The Postmen depot. The owner of the truck and trailer name is Tim Boileau and he volunteered it for two trips to 亚洲天堂 Lake and he drove Monday鈥檚 load himself. (Submitted photos)
