The donation from CCF will help support the fall fair and its activities. Chinook has been a longtime supporter of the fair and the Lakes District Fall Fair Association appreciates it. It allows the association to bring live music, livestock and other programs to the fair.

亚洲天堂 Lake Community Forest (BLCF) donated a cheque of $5000 to the Centennial Ball Drop at this year鈥檚 fall fair on Sept. 9. Local resident Johnny Johnson organized a fund raiser to help out the 亚洲天堂 Lake Ladies Auxiliary. Johnson said, 鈥淭he ladies auxiliary and the hospital have projects which need support right now. The nurse鈥檚 quarters needs to be cleaned up for accommodating more nurses who can come and enjoy working here.

Radley Beach playground opened

Radley Beach Playground is finally complete and local residents of 亚洲天堂 Lake can now enjoy this beautiful playground. The initial schedule of completing the playground was delayed due to some logistics issue. The order from the manufacturer was missing a few key custom pieces. On Sept. 6, Lewis Jones Director of Recreation Services for the Village of 亚洲天堂 Lake said, 鈥淭he parts have arrived now, and we are just waiting for the contractor to return.
