A number of local residents have used the two minutes of public comment time afforded to them during recent Village of 亚洲天堂 Lake council meetings to voice their displeasure over an impending seven per cent tax increase.

Homicide investigators from the North District Major Crime Unit, with assistance from the 亚洲天堂 Lake RCMP Detachment are continuing to work hard at investigating the homicide of 17 year old Southside teen, Chassidy Charlie. According to Sgt. Rob Vermeulen, E Division's senior media relations officer, Investigators now believe this was an isolated incident and not a random attack.

According to the Village of 亚洲天堂 Lake public works crew, the new village garbage truck as well as new larger capacity plastic garbage cans with wheels will cut their garbage run time in half, increase their safety and reduce the amount of on the job injuries they receive.
