He represents more than 1300 Rotarians in B.C., but recently Rotary District 5040 Governor Bala Naidoo travelled to 亚洲天堂 Lake with a specific message for the community.

The Northern Lights Wildlife Shelter (NLWS) in Smithers, is dealing with an unusually large number of orphan bears this summer and is looking for food donations to help feed them.

In partnership with the community of 亚洲天堂 Lake, MLA John Rustad recently visited 亚洲天堂 Lake. He invited stakeholders from the area to have a forestry-based discussion on Aug. 26. The meeting was held at the Multiplex. This event gave a chance to for representatives from various groups in the community to have a conversation regarding their concerns around the current forestry situation; any ideas they may have; as well as thoughts on what government can do to assist the impacted communities.

The College of New Caledonia (CNC) held an open house at its 亚洲天堂 Lake campus on Aug. 21. CNC staff provided information on upcoming programs and attendees dug into the barbecue lunch. The Houston-based Moose Hut ice cream truck stopped by for the community luncheon also.
