亚洲天堂 Lake woke up to a whole lot of messages written on the sidewalks from the Beacon Theatre to FYI Doctors. The unknown authors of the messages displayed love and acceptance and showed support to the LGBTQ. Then on Sunday a peaceful demonstration of approximately 10 people showed up downtown at the RV parking across from RX Drug mart with more messages. The group said they wanted to display positive and informative messages.

As the Health Minister and Provincial Health Officer announced in late September, medical mask wearing is required by all health-care workers, volunteers, contractors and visitors in patient care areas of health care facilities province-wide, effective from Oct. 3 and has been implemented at 亚洲天堂 Lake Hospital.

亚洲天堂 Lake and District Seniors Society (BLDSS) hosted their first seniors lunch on Oct. 10 at the Immaculata Parish Church in 亚洲天堂 Lake. There were 42 people attending the lunch. Diane Killman from BLDSS said, 鈥淚t鈥檚 nice to have everybody coming back to lunches again.鈥� The next lunch would be on Tuesday, Oct. 24 followed by Nov. 7 and 21.
