Out-spoken in-care youth forum in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake

On Feb. 23, children and youth aged eight to 26 years in and from government care had an opportunity to enjoy a day of creative fun, while providing their input around what child welfare service delivery should look like. Carrier Sekani Family Services is hostied the Out-Spoken In-Care Youth forum which took place at Margaret Patrick Hall in ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake.

The Babine Forest Products health and wellness team provided anti-bullying shirts to staff, and pins to all employees and Babine and Decker mills. It was in support of Pink Shirt Day which raises awareness about bullying. The health and wellness team is a committee formed within Babine, in order to discuss topics, make decisions and implement initiatives that involve the health and wellness of all employees.
