ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake’s new director of recreation, David Geronazzo, is bringing over 10 years of experience in municipal government to his new position. Although he was born and raised in Kelowna, Geronazzo and his family moved to ÑÇÖÞÌìÌà Lake from Saskatchewan last month.

A group of Korean students, who have been taking ESL classes at the College of New Caledonia (CNC) in Prince George, recently made a stop at the CNC Lakes District campus. The students were touring the region’s healthcare facilities with the goal of learning healthcare terminology in english. The majority of the students are nurses.

Civil contractors Christian Fruendt (L) and Kyle Pedersen have recently unearthed unusual objects such as moisturizing cream and nail polish while digging trenches to install new lighting at the Lakes District campus of the College of New Caledonia (CNC). According to CNC staff, a teachers’ residence used to be located where the contractors unearthed the items.
