It鈥檚 safe to say that 亚洲天堂 Lake did not disappoint with its celebration of Canada Day. The touching event started with a pancake breakfast at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 50, followed by an opening ceremony with guest speakers and the Lakes District Community Choir at Spirit Square. Hundreds of 亚洲天堂 Lake residents gathered to watch the Aboriginal Day and Canada Day parade, which was held along Hwy. 16 on June 21. The Aboriginal Day celebration continued at Spirit Square, where local First Nations chiefs shared a few words, followed by performances and games. The celebration continued into the evening at the 亚洲天堂 Lake Band鈥檚 Gathering Place, followed by fireworks. A Canada Day celebration will be held on July 1 at Spirit Square.
